I’m a certified RRCA run coach with a passion for running and a determination to overcome obstacles. My journey in the running world has been marked by challenges, injuries, and triumphant comebacks that have shaped me into the coach I am today.
Having faced my fair share of injuries, I delved deep into the realms of recovery and stretching to not only bounce back but also to emerge stronger than before. My commitment to holistic well-being led me to explore avenues like recovery centers, physical therapy, yoga and sports massages, all of which played pivotal roles in my recovery journey.
In 2023, I set my sights on a formidable goal – completing a half marathon. Not only did I achieve this milestone, but I conquered two half marathons in that year alone. The sense of accomplishment fueled my desire to share my experiences and expertise with others who may be navigating their own challenges in the world of running.
I understand the struggles, the setbacks, and the moments of doubt that can accompany any running journey. It’s these struggles I worked through that motivated me become a coach to begin with. I continue to face challenges along the way, but having a support system by my side makes the journey smoother. Some time back in May, I ventured into my first marathon, battling a pesky calf strain throughout. However, thanks to consistent training and a comprehensive workout plan, I managed to surpass my own goals.
